Each gastro-resistant tablet contains:
200,000 armour units of enzymatic activity
(applied by a purified concentrate with has
specific Trypsin & Chymotrypsin activity in
ratio of approximately 6:1)

This combination is used to repair body tissues against injuries and reduces oxidative stress and also aids in digestion.

About composition

Trypsin:

Trypsin is protease enzyme which causes the hydrolysis of the protein. It is obtained from the porcine and bovine pancreas. It is converted into Trypsin by zymogens trypsinogen

Chymotrypsin:

It is the serine protease obtained from the pancreas it helps in the breakdown of the proteins and proteolysis. It is converted into chymotrypsin with the help of precursor zymogens chymotrypsinogen in the presence of Trypsin.

Mechanism of action

Trypsin:

The SER moiety of the Trypsin enzyme attacks the carbonyl moiety of the peptide bond of the protein molecule thus causes hydrolysis of the protein molecule

Chymotrypsin:

It contains oxyanion hole to produce the alpha chymotrypsin which causes the breakdown of the proteins and polypeptides

Side effects

Contraindications

• Contraindicated in pregnancy
• Contraindicated in people with known hypersensitivity
• Contraindicated in liver and kidney impairment
